- Record Video or Timeshift Live TV. The CMC3000 records from any device with composite/AV output such as a VCR, DVD player, cable, or satellite box. Record your favorite TV shows with the touch of a button, or schedule future recordings using an intuitive menu. With different recording modes from HQ to SLP, the Multimedia Center can record up to 700 hours of video on a 500GB hard drive, or 1400 hours of video on the 1 TB hard drive. The convenient Timeshift feature allows you to pause and rewind LiveTV so you can step away from your TV and never miss a thing. Skip through time-consuming commercials and simultaneously record Live TV while playing a movie stored on the built-in hard drive.

Back to Top- Can I use any g/n USB Wifi adapter with the CMC3000?
We recommend using the official dongle for best compatibility and performance. However, USB wireless network adapters that use a RealTek chipset are compatible with the CMC3000. - I have changed some video settings on the Menu section and now I am unable to see anything on my television?
You may have set the video resolution to a size that the cables you are using or that the TV does not support. You can remedy this issue by pressing the TV System button located on the remote in 5 second intervals to toggle between different resolution sizes until you get a clear picture. - My CMC3000 is completely locked up. Either I get the boot-up screen and nothing else, or the screen just goes completely blank?
This issue can be caused by file corruption most common during unsafe removal of the USB from your computer. You will need to reformat the internal HDD using a computer. After all partitions are removed, connect the CMC to your TV and follow the on screen guide to format your CMC. When that process is done you can use the CMC as normal. - My CMC3000 is completely locked up. Either I get the boot-up screen and nothing else, or the screen just goes completely blank?

Mac computers have a limitation in which by design and default they are not able to write to NTFS formatted hard drives, they can only read from them. This means that when using a Mac computer you will need to acquire special software from Apple to enable NTFS write support. Or you can transfer from an external drive into the CMC local HDD through the TV interface via the File Copy menu on the main screen. - Can the Cirago CMC3000 be able to record information from the channel that my cable box is currently tuned into? If so, does the Cirago CMC3000 have the ability to tell the cable box or digital tuner to switch over to the desired channel?
The CMC is a home entertainment storage media center that has the added bonus ability to record unencrypted video and audio signal through its composite inputs at High Quality standard resolution. It is not a DVR and cannot provide TV channel surfing or channel decryption.
